The Weidemann range, a global market leader, consists of 3 series – Hoftrac, Wheel Loader and Tele Loader and models range from 30HP – 120HP. All in all there are 35 different variations of models with the smallest just 850cm wide allowing it to fit through the tightest of spaces including doorways with the range completed by a 120hp machine, and everything else in between! To cater for a niche in the market, Weidemann is only one of a select few manufacturers who build a 100hp Telehandler meaning it doesn’t compromise its accessibility. The vast majority of machines in the Weidemann range also are available with a low profile cab as an optional extra which benefits those who are tight for space but require a handler for their work, for example, on the 100hp machine the Low profile option reduces the overall height of the machine by nearly 34cm.

The internationally distinguished Weidemann brand, which is part of the Wacker Neuson Group, stands for 40 years of experience in developing and manufacturing of compact Hoftracs, wheel loaders and telehandlers. Weidemann was the first to develop the “Hoftrac”, recognising the growing need of the agricultural sector to replace exhausting manual labour by easier machine work. The robust and very flexible machine was designed to support agriculturists with smaller businesses during their many daily loading and transportation tasks. A broad range of attachments for different applications converted the machine quickly to an all-round solution used by a rising number of industry sectors. The continuous development in close cooperation with customers from agricultural backgrounds, local authorities, industries as well as the equestrian market has placed Weidemann in the position of a global market leader. For some time Wilsons of Rathkenny have been trying to source a quality handler and we believe the Weidemann range is a superior product in today’s market and are delighted to welcome the Ireland distributorship to Rathkenny.

Being a German product the Weidemann brand is renowned for its build quality and attention to detail. Weidemann have developed a substantial plant in Germany of approx 50000 sq metres. The new production plant opened in 2008 and as a result the leading manufacturer of wheel loaders and telehandlers for agriculture and construction has doubled its production capacity.

The Weidemann range made its debut on the Wilsons of Rathkenny Stand at the Balmoral Show in Belfast in May, when Wilsons were Northern Ireland distributors for Weidemann. Since then Wilsons of Rathkenny have been awarded the distributorship for Ireland and are taking a stand at the 2009 Ploughing Championships in Athy, Co Kildare from 22^nd – 24^th September where 8 machines from the range will be on show.
