INSPIRED BY MOTORSPORT AT ITS BEST
For starters, the aerodynamic specialists whose skill has been honed perfecting racecar bodywork also worked their magic on the Juke Nismo. And just like a racecar, the Nissan Juke is dynamically efficient. It seems everything has been designed to enhance the driving experience.
From the red leather-trimmed sports seats and gear knob to the steering wheel’s red leather segment that makes it easy to see how much the steering is dialed in. The red illuminated dialed gauges to the choice of three exterior colours (Metallic Black, Silver or White Pearl). Everything has been redesigned to work together to underline the performance and experience of driving the Juke.
PEDIGREE PERFORMANCE
THE JUKE HAS THE SAME PERFORMANCE DNA THAT RUNS THROUGH NISSAN’S MOTORSPORTS CARS.
Nismo specialists have engineered the design to make the Juke even more efficient, dynamic and powerful. The new model features lower front and rear bumpers, wider wings and sill side skirts, and a modified grille and tailgate spoiler to control airflow. These aerodynamic enhancements reduce front and rear lift without increasing drag improving the Juke Nismo’s driving performance.
The Juke Nismo has a 1.6-litre direct injection turbocharged petrol engine tuned-up to 200hp, that was inspired by the one installed in Nissan’s revolutionary DeltaWing Le Mans race car.
You’ll be able to choose from two transmission options: 2 Wheel Drive and 4 Wheel Drive.
The 4WD version is equipped with a CVT gearbox as standard. This advanced unit features a manual mode that allows you to select seven gears. It also has the Nissan's innovative ALL MODE 4x4-i system. This torque vectoring system delivers better grip and cornering capacity by distributing power evenly between front and rear axles and from side-to-side.
When it comes to acceleration, the 2WD is capable of 0-100kph in 7.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 215kph. While the 4WD model sprints from 0-100kph in 8.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 200kph. Beat that.
YOU CAN EXPECT SPORTIER HANDLING, TRACTION AND GRIP
The suspension settings and new steering modifications are what gives the Juke its agile direct handling and improved traction control. Stylish new 18-inch alloy wheels with wider tyres offer improved grip and further boosts the Juke’s on-road presence. And it’s also available with torque vectoring, a technology offering better grip and cornering capacity. Smooth.
