Wilsons of Rathkenny Company Update
With the new Government restrictions coming into place from Friday 27th November, we wanted to clarify the changes that will come into effect across our showrooms. The health and well-being of our staff and customers is always our top priority, and the plan outlined below will be kept under constant review and amended where necessary.
• We will be fully operational in our Aftersales departments as normal – this includes our onsite Accident Repair Centre. Since reopening in June 2020 our workshops and teams have adopted a range of safety measures and new working practices, in line with government guidance, meaning we can maintain your vehicle during these difficult times. With the actions we have taken to prioritise safety, our customers and employees can feel confident that we are taking every precaution.
• Our Agricultural Teams will be fully operational. Sales, service and parts will all be available to support the agricultural community and help them continue with their essential, everyday work.
• In terms of vehicle sales, from Friday 27th November we will be digitally open for sales. Although customers won’t be able to visit our showrooms, you can browse our stock, build your own finance deal and reserve a vehicle online – all from the comfort of your own home, at a time that works for you. Additionally our sales team can provide you with a personalised video of the vehicle you are interested in, and if required more photographs. Over the last number of months we have been offering unaccompanied test drives with all appropriate PPE, and this will continue if requested by a customer. Vehicles will continue to be sanitised before and after each customer. Our team can complete a fully contactless sales process with all paperwork completed securely online. We can then arrange home delivery of your new vehicle or a safe handover outside the showroom. We are here to help you with the purchase of your vehicle, and will provide the necessary support required.
